[DEADLINE EXTENDED] – TOR for Designing and Delivering a 3-Day Training on Teambuilding and Leadership

  1. Background: PFPID recognizes the critical importance of effective team dynamics and strong leadership skills in achieving the project objectives under LEV-BLOSSOM Project. Therefore, it seeks to conduct a comprehensive 3-day training program focused on enhancing teambuilding and leadership capabilities for the member organization implementing the LEV-BLOSSOM project.
  2. Objectives:
    • To enhance participants’ understanding of effective team dynamics and their role.
    • To develop participants’ leadership skills, including communication, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
    • To foster a collaborative and supportive work environment conducive to achieving organizational objectives.
  3. Scope of Work:

a. Training Design:

  • Conduct a thorough needs assessment to understand the specific requirements and challenges faced by the organization.
  • Develop a detailed training curriculum outlining the topics to be covered each day, including theoretical concepts, practical exercises, and group discussions.
  • Incorporate interactive activities and case studies to facilitate active participation and practical learning.
  • Ensure alignment with the organization’s goals, culture, and desired outcomes.

b. Training Delivery:

  • Facilitate engaging and interactive sessions over the course of 3 days, following the designed curriculum in 2 places.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional techniques to accommodate different learning styles and preferences.
  • Encourage active participation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among participants.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to individuals and teams throughout the training.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes open communication and mutual respect.

c. Evaluation and Feedback:

  • Implement pre-training and post-training assessments to measure participants’ knowledge gain and skill improvement.
  • Collect feedback from participants regarding the effectiveness of the training content, delivery methods, and overall experience.
  • Analyze evaluation data to identify strengths, areas for improvement, and recommendations for future training initiatives.
  • Deliverables:

a. Training Curriculum: A detailed outline of the 3-day training program, including session objectives, topics, activities, and materials.

b. Training Materials: PowerPoint presentations, handouts, worksheets, and other resources used during the training sessions.

c. Training Evaluation Report: A comprehensive report summarizing the evaluation results, feedback from participants, and recommendations for further action.

  1. Timeline:
    • Needs assessment and curriculum development: 2 weeks
    • Training delivery: 3 consecutive days
    • Evaluation and reporting: 1 week after the training
  2. Budget:
    • The organization will provide the necessary resources, including venue, equipment, and materials, for the successful execution of the training program.
  3. Qualifications:
    • The training facilitator should possess expertise in teambuilding, leadership development, and adult learning principles.
    • Previous experience in designing and delivering similar training programs is highly desirable.
    • Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  4. Service Duration and Location

The consultant will be working in close coordination with PFPID-NEPAL team. The location and duration of the training shall be decided later.
