It is the minimum responsibility of the government to implement the Act, 2074 and the Regulations 2077 on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. It is the right of citizens to enjoy the provisions of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, 2006, as a nation. Deepak Bhandari, a resident of Tanhu Myagde Rural Municipality, expressed his solidarity with the peaceful sit-in that started at Shantibatika Ratnapark Kathmandu on 2080/12/06, and appealed to everyone to cooperate in the protest.

In order to implement the Act on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, 2074, I would like to draw the attention of the concerned parties to immediately amend the Regulations on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities 2077, which were made in such a way that the existing facilities will be reduced, and to make personal support services, community services and other services provided by law as procedures and implement them immediately. .
