Preface Writing Training (Kaski and Magdi)

A three-day preface writing training was successfully completed for the participants of Kaski Parent Association of Intellectual Disability and Myagdi Parent Association of Intellectual Disability from 25/03/2079 to 27th at Lakeside Pokhara with the support of Federation of Parents of Intellectual Disability Nepal and the support of Lev Inclusion Denmark.

The General Secretary of the Federation, Ram Narayan Shrestha, welcomed all the participants and a total of 20 people, including 10 women, participated in the program which started informally. The training was facilitated by Nirmal Bhandari and Raju Basnet, which was conducted in a participatory manner through games, entertainment, group work, brainstorming, role playing, etc.

In that program, the basic steps required to write a proposalबारे were discussed in depth and the participants were divided into 3 groups and a complete proposal was written on the issues of intellectual disability such as health, income generation etc.

With the enthusiastic participation of all the participants, they promised to return to their respective places and write proposals and submit them to the relevant stakeholders. After the certificates were distributed to all the participants, two participants, including a woman, said that the training was very productive and helpful in preparing local level proposals.

In the end, Raju Basnet, President of PFPID Nepal, concluded the program by saying that what he learned in this training and what he expected to be effectively implemented in his field of work.
