National Disability Federation of Nepal Sudurpaschim against the policy program presented in the Provincial Assembly against the spirit of the Convention on Rights, the Constitution of Nepal, the Act on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities 2074, ignoring the concerns of persons with disabilities in the policies and programs presented by the Sudurpaschim province government for the fiscal year 2080/81. After 6 days of street struggle, the federation was forced to stage a street struggle after the demands of the disabled people presented to the leadership of the province were not met.

The fact that the presented policies and programs do not address the concerns of people with disabilities, their effective, meaningful participation and inclusiveness is a mockery of democracy and human rights. Despite repeatedly drawing attention to disability-inclusive, disability-responsive policies and programs and budgeting, the provincial government has become unresponsive. Expressing full support and solidarity to the peaceful relay fast and creative protest by the Disability Rights Promotion Struggle Committee against the discrimination of the people with disabilities by the government of the Far West Province, it is the responsibility of the state to fulfill the international commitments made by the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, the Constitution of Nepal and the बारे of the State of Persons with Disabilities. . The National Disabled Federation strongly demands that the demands presented by the Nepal Far West Province be addressed as soon as possible.
