An awareness program regarding the employment of people with intellectual disabilities was completed in Simra
A one-day awareness program on employment of people with intellectual disabilities for parents was organized in Simara by the Federation of Parents of Intellectual Disabilities Nepal with the support of Lev Inclusion Denmark, in which a total of 22 people, including 6 men and 16 women, participated.
The program analyzed the work, abilities and interests of people with intellectual disabilities, their safety and the role of the family, the role of employers and local governments, and the role of people with intellectual disabilities. It also analyzed the business opportunities in the society and discussed employment opportunities. The program was facilitated by Raju Basnet, President of the Federation of Parents of Intellectual Disabilities Nepal.
