Refresher training on self-advocacy and rights was completed for the working committee of the intellectual disability association Kaski and Myagdi.

Organized by Federation of Parents of Intellectual Disabilities Nepal and with the financial support of Lab Inclusion Denmark, on 14th and 15th of May 2079 in Pokhara, the working committee of Intellectual Disabilities Association Kaski and Myagdi was successfully completed training on self-advocacy and rights related refreshment. The members of the working committee of Intellectual Disability Association, Kaski and Myagdi as well as their parents were also present in the training. A total of 32 people participated in the program.

Program Facilitation Parents of Intellectual Disabilities It was done by Shri Ram Narayan Shrestha, General Secretary of Federation, Nepal Self-advocacy, its need, the rights of persons with disabilities and the बारे of the International Convention of Persons with Disabilities were also discussed in the program for two days. The program was further enlivened by games and entertainment He said that people with intellectual disabilities and their parents have received information about many new things from the program.
