An awareness program for parents regarding one-day employment was completed in Lamjung.

A one-day awareness program on employment of people with intellectual disabilities for parents was organized in Lamjung by the Federation of Parents of Intellectual Disabilities Nepal with the support of Lev Inclusion Denmark, in which a total of 21 people, including 13 men and 8 women, participated.

The program analyzed the needs and skills of people with intellectual disabilities and their families for economic development. Similarly, the analysis of local businesses and employment opportunities were explored. The same program analyzed the work that people with intellectual disabilities can do, their safety and the role of families, the role of employers and local governments, and the role of people with intellectual disabilities. The program, which was held under the chief hospitality of Gandaki Provincial Assembly Member Dr. Takraj Gurung and the hospitality of Shyam Sital, Joint Secretary of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Lamjung, was facilitated by Nirmal Bhandari.
