Experience exchange program among employees completed

The learning and experience exchange program learned by the employees in the programs of the Federation of Parents of Intellectual Disabilities Nepal has been completed in Kathmandu.

Bhushan Raj Raut, program manager of the federation, informed that the program was organized with the aim of sharing the learning and experience of the employees in the implementation of the Copila project, which is being conducted by the federation in 6 districts of Nepal.

Pragati Khadka, employment officer of the project, informed that the project's employment officer, Pragati Khadka, discussed the challenges faced in achieving the goal of employment for people with intellectual disabilities and the strategies to be adopted in the future to achieve the goal.

Sunil V.K., Accounts Officer of the Federation informed the employees participating in the program about accounting management and its challenges. He said that the expected achievements of the project will be achieved only if the accounting management and resources are properly mobilized.

Gyanendra Kumar Jha, Field Officer of Saptari District, Milan Kharal, Field Officer of Chitwan and Lamjung District, and Anjana Subedi, Field Officer of Kaski and Myagdi District, gave their presentations regarding the exchange of experiences and learning.

During the presentation, they shared experience and learning about the mobilization of parent self-help groups, development of institutional capacity of people with intellectual disabilities, progress and challenges of lobbying and advocacy being done by parent associations of intellectual disabilities with local government and concerned agencies.

The event, which was attended by 7 employees under the budding project of the federation, was completed with the support of Lev Inclusion Denmark.
