Act on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, 2074

The Government of Nepal has enacted this Act in accordance with Clause (1) of Article 296 of the Self-Reliance and Respect for Persons with Disabilities by ending discrimination against persons with disabilities and respecting their civil, social, political, economic and cultural rights and empowering persons with disabilities to participate in the policy making and development process.
Article of the Constitution of Nepal by amending and unifying the laws related to the rights of persons with disabilities in relation to ensuring a living environment.
