Bearing in mind the fact that the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (2006) ensures the protection of the rights and dignity of persons with disabilities, during the mass communication process, words, vocabulary, images or language that harm the rights and dignity of persons with disabilities through letters, words or visuals shall not be used. or with the aim of not revealing the intention, the mass media and journalists in the course of their duty to do more towards disabled people. As it is desirable to bear responsibility, sensitivity and responsibility, the Disability Friendly Communication Guide issued by Press Council Nepal with the advice and consent of Nepal Journalist Federation and National Disability Federation Nepal using the authority given by Section (12) of Journalist Code of Conduct - 2073
