Vacancy Announcement for Fund Raising Expert

Parent Federation of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (PFPID)- Nepal has been actively leading intellectual disability rights movement in Nepal. It is a national level federation of 37 independent member organizations throughout Nepal. Currently, PFPID-Nepal is seeking qualified, experienced and result oriented “Fund Raising Expert“.

Required qualification: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) in communication, marketing, public relation, social science and business development.

Experience: Having at least five years prior experiences in fund raising, communication and networking in the NGO context especially for disability rights issues and demonstrated experience in concept paper preparation, project proposal development and having excellent communication skills in English language.

Duties: She/he/other will be responsible to carry out fund raising, communication and networking works with the close coordination of President/general secretary of PFPID-Nepal in order to build an increasingly diversified donor-base that will meet the current & future needs of PFPID-Nepal.

Contract duration: 1 August to 31 December, 2016 (possibility of extension as per the performance)

Deliverable: By the end of 2016, she/he/other will be expected to prepare and submit fund raising plan for now, a complete profile of potential donors, at least five complete project proposals and ten project concept papers to submit further.

Remuneration: Rs. 40,000/- per month
