It serves as the representative body for persons with intellectual disabilities, is registered with the District Administration Office, Kathmandu, and works to promote their rights, dignity, and access to services.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The head office is located at:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Devi Marg, Sano Gauchar, Kathmandu, Ward No. 30, Nepal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mission&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The primary objective of AID-Nepal is to protect and promote the rights of persons with intellectual disabilities, ensure their meaningful inclusion in families, communities, and society, and empower them to become effective self-advocates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Vacancy Announcement&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AID-Nepal invites applications from interested and qualified Nepali citizens for the following position:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Position: Project Officer&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Number of Positions:<\/strong>&nbsp;1 (One) \u2013 Full Time&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Duty Station:<\/strong>&nbsp;AID-Nepal Office, Devi Marg, Sano Gaucharan, Kathmandu&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Contract Duration:&nbsp;<\/strong>Until the end of December 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Major Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Coordinate and implement project activities in accordance with the approved project plan.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Facilitate trainings, consultations, and workshops on disability rights, inclusion, and capacity building.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare periodic project reports, case studies, and documentation of best practices.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liaise and coordinate with relevant stakeholders, including local and national authorities.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support effective monitoring, data collection, and communication activities within the project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Required Qualifications&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>a) Educational Qualification&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum Bachelor\u2019s degree in Social Work, Education, Development Studies, or a related field (Master\u2019s degree preferred).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>b) Work Experience&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>At least 3\u20135 years of experience in project coordination or implementation, preferably in the disability sector or rights-based development programs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>c) Other Essential Skills and Competencies&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strong understanding of intellectual disabilities and disability rights.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in MS Office, email, and basic digital tools.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fluency in spoken and written Nepali and English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How to Apply&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Interested candidates who align with AID-Nepal\u2019s core values and have a genuine passion for serving persons with intellectual disabilities should:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1.
